SPECIAL SESSIONS

The special session (SS) should focus on a specific scientific subject on the scope of EEITE 2025. The organizers of the SS, researchers in the field, will be responsible for sending the call for papers of their Special Sessions. Each SS must have at least 4 confirmed speakers. For SS with more than 5 confirmed keynote speakers, the organizers have his/hers registration fee waived. The special session’s proposal should contain the following information:

  • Title;
  • Brief description;
  • List of topics of interest;
  • Organizers (names, affiliation, e-mails).

There are for now 6 special sessions:

Special Session 1 – Low-Power Microwave Sensing for High-Sensitivity Biomedical and Nondestructive Applications

Special Session 2 – Recent advancements in robotic perception, learning, interaction, communication and control technologies

Special Session 3 – Digital technologies in the agrifood value chain: From precision agriculture to advanced processing and sustainable distribution

Special Session 4 – Pedagogies and Technologies for Higher Education in the AI Era

Special Session 5 – CYPHER: Cybersecurity for Yielding Protection in Hyperconnected Ecosystems and Resilience

Special Session 6 – Innovative Technologies and Applied Systems: Preparing the Future of Smart Mobility
